Aird Cushion

This beautiful deep red reminds me of the colours in the amazing sunsets from my mothers house in Aird, on the island of Benbecula which looks out to the Atlantic sea.

A traditional check that will enhance any setting.

Culla Bay Cushion

The colour of the sea at Culla Bay in Aird is always stunning. This tweed, with the range of coloured buttons is a reflection of some of those colours.

Fraoch Cushion

This is the gaelic word for heather which reminds me of the vibrant colours , lilac, purple and mauve which only begins to describe the island heather.

The Muir of Aird Cushion

I have named this cushion after Muir of Aird in Benbecula as it reflects the
beautiful colours of the moors there, the dark peaty earth and the grass , wet with the rain. The richness of this tweed is shown off at its best in both rustic and ultra-modern settings.

Rueval Cushion

I have named this after the only hill on Benbecula, Rueval which seems to
have all these colours reflected on it. The light in the Outer Hebrides unusually changes the colours of the landscape, enhancing and drawing the eye to new shades of green, brown and orange.

Benbecula Cushion

I have named this after the island of Benbecula. It is a beautiful tweed with many colours that will match many interiors.

The buttons will vary on cushions, orders can be taken with or without buttons on request.
